Big Bear Lodge on the Gunflint Trail is the perfect location for small and medium size groups. Maximum bed space is 27. We are located on Poplar Lake 30 miles west of Grand Marais off the North Shore.

 

Consider our lodge, 6 cabins and 3 lodge rooms for your wedding, family reunion, corporate event or retreat. Our booking engine allows you to book multiple cabins and rooms simultaneously.

Guests at Big Bear enjoy complimentary use of canoes, kayaks and paddle boards. Canoe paddles and life vests are conveniently located on the porch of your cabin. We have a pontoon, two fishing boats and snowshoes for add-on rentals.

Our large commercial kitchen can be utilized by your catering company or we can provide breakfast, lunch and dinner artisan pizzas. Our bar stocks craft brews, a selection of wines, non-alcohol beverages, Big Bear Bloody Beers and Mason Jar Mimosa's.
